This film tells the story of the Okavango Delta, a refuge in the heart of the Kalahari, built and maintained by its inhabitants; in return, it caters for their every need. It explores the blueprints for building the perfect world, managing it sustainably, and maintaining it – despite increasing climate extremes. This family oriented wildlife drama makes audiences fall in love with a place and its characters but also highlights important themes – the preciousness of fresh water, the importance of biodiversity and the roles of wildlife in maintaining wilderness health.

The cinematography in this film is exceptional and testament to the huge investment of time the Botswana NHFU camera team made to the film’s characters. For over two-years, at least three crews were permanently based in the wilderness of the Okavango Delta; armed with top-of-the-range kit.
